Pre-View will work with the output from virtually any make or model of camera that can be attached to your computer. However, using a camera that can be remotely operated from your keyboard makes the process of image capture much easier.

The EOS range does not support the remote viewfinder feature, so is not recommended for use with Pre-View.
Pre-View is unable to support connections to a camera using the older RS-232C interface. As a result, the camera models shown below cannot be directly controlled from Pre-View unless connected by USB.
